3 Outfits, 1 Day = EPIC WIN!

I know I know I know, I have been a slacker, a HUGE slacker, but with RL and my SL commitments, and having way too much damn fun, can ya blame me? *eyes her sisters to not say a word!*

Today I bring you 3 outfits of EPIC WIN!

Pictured here is a very elegant off the shoulder top called Fleur De Lis.   It is a wonderfully textured dark blue low cut, yet still classy top.  It also comes with optional cuffs (not pictured).  I have paired it with the NEW RELEASE Jeans also from WG  $195L Black Low Dress Jean.  The prim attachments are well built and detailed to make it look almost seamless as much as you can in SL *giggles*.  This outfit is great if you are looking for something well made, and something along the more casual line of dress on the grid.  WG has a lot of great product ranging from classy to down right scandalous, and as always, with a target for the discerning shopper who doesn't want to spend a ton of L’s to look good.Great Job guys, and thank you to Sophia for the heads up on some GREAT items ;)

Don’t get it twisted when you search for “Delirium” in your search bar.  This is the ORIGINAL place for the best URBAN Gear on the grid as far as I am concerned!  Pictured to the left is their outfit called “Epica”, it has quite a few options as Christel Morane usually gives to all her items.  This item was courtesy of a Group Challenge.  Splixxen Miles woke us all up with a question about one of their many ensembles and yours truly was the first one to answer correctly (who is not a member of DS Staff).  I was able to choose one outfit for my answer, and I chose “Epica” – shes cute, flirty, and damn makes your curves go POW.  Delirium is currently having a group discount sale on their SIM, so get your butts down there, join the group and have a blast, trust me, you will love it.

Shop*Gasm Girls are huge fans of Pacadi Jasha’s  Lotta Shelman, so I was all over it when I received this pretty item to blog.  Just in time for summer, they have released a small summer themed line that you can pick up by visiting the GOLden Shopping district.  No they haven’t reopened their SIM sadly, but perhaps one day :)  This fun and romantic pink piece is called Alis, it also comes in a very dark green and a light blue (if I remember correctly).  The ripples of the fabric on the texturing just blew me away, its so well constructed, it made me squee!  I have been wearing this around the grid all morning!  No lie, I have pictures to prove it, I just hope my butt doesn't get banned.  Anyways, back to the lingerie.  *drools*  I LOVE the heart that PJ puts into their outfits and this is no different.  Quality items for a reasonable price, who couldn’t say know to breaking the “Don’t buy the fat pack, just cause” Rule.

The NEW Face of RP ... ?

Imagine yourself in a rainforest. Lush greens, blues, the call of nature behind you, soaring through the air on some of the most mystical creatures you've ever seen.  You turn and spy something, but you're not sure what it is... But you hear choppers whirring, machine guns rattling and quiet... Something jumps out and startles you and you're not sure what you've seen! Now tell me...how do you see yourself? Are you one who explores or are you an indigenous creature of the land you picture...could you possibly look like this?

Presenting the Nav'itar from De La Fae Productions!!

If this face is looking incredibly familiar...then you've guessed it. The Nav'itar is a replica of the newest action movie "Avatar" scheduled out this month in theaters nationwide!!  LeRochelle, head of De La Fae Productions, a store dedicated to bringing you some of THE BEST Anthro avatars I have ever seen (trust me...if you saw my collection, you'd understand why I work so much...it's to buy her avatars!!), has released this homage to James Cameron's newest theatrical creation.

The Nav'itar is a bioluminescent (say THAT ten times fast :P) race of avatar that is simply stunning. The skin has an amazing amount of detail: from the earrings to the white flecks that cover the body so that when the lighting hits it JUST right...it's amazing.  And it's not just a highlight here or there...this is full body coverage, including the shading on the tail.

Coming as a total package (L$2700 - I know I know...but you get the TOTAL package) of: skin, shape, hair, eyes, silks (not pictured), choice of accented or unaccented tail and accents for both legs and hair, you are sure to get your money's worth. Or you can buy just the base avatar (I think it was L$2000 even), with the hair & headdress (shown to left) coming in separately at L$250 and the clothing at L$450.

Now...instead of using the default shape (the shape was a little too tall and thin for me) and eyes (the yellow eyes were a bit much for me when I tried them on),  I used my regular shape (a custom I've had since I first got to SL) and my older eyes to help bring this avatar to life in a different way. I did buy the hair because well...lookit the headdress (points up)!!

I did however decide to use my own hair and silks to make a look all my own.and hopefully, I did ok! I don't know if there's an RP sim here yet for this splended adventure, but I am pretty sure that if/WHEN it arrives...I'll be ready to do battle!!  So head on down to De La Fae and get ready for your chance to defend your people in what I predict will be the most epic of RP sims to EVER hit SL (if it ever arrives *winks*).

So remember that time that we told you there was a third who will someday be able to keep up with her two shopping a.d.d. ridden cohorts?  Yeah...that's me ... and no...my computer is still not up to snuff *tear*.  But...that doesn't prevents the shopping!! NAY!

So back to the point.  I was running behind..around...whaaaaaaaaatever my two sisters and we landed at a place I had been to before but completely forgot about: Sweetest Goodbye.  To say the store has changed would be an understatement!  I saw stuff I don't remember seeing before and thudded (again with the thudding!).  So in my dire need to not succumb to the school uniform my dynamic duo of sisterdom has...I opted for something a bit different...the Desire sweater (see below)

Now...be warned: This sweater ... alll primwork.  But it's GOOD primwork. You may have to move the top down just a smidgen in order to cover your left nipple, but other than that...rock the primwork!!

So as I started drooling in the store...I immediately began thinking ... what can I put with this wonderful thing to make an outfit.  Add a mini from Luck, Inc, Bax Boots and all that was missing...the HAIR. Enter Deviant Kitties & their wonderful proprietor Halyanwe Vindaloo.  I went, picked out several demos and ended up in lurve with the Archie: a scripted color-change hair that's up on her new releases wall.  And when I say I had trouble...I had TROUBLE getting the hud to work.  So...I im'd her. Figured, 'what the hey? Worse comes to worst...I get no help'.  Not only was Halyanwe online, she was uber helpful; walking me through the demo hair & hud, before and after purchase (as there were some startup issues with both). And ultimately when the product refused to work for me...she sent me the version she was using to walk me through and VOILA! new hair that worked ^.^!! Note to customers:  EVERY shop owner could take a lesson from Miss Vindaloo. She was courteous, patient and most important...HELPFUL. Thank you Halyanwe...you made my night!!  Between items already in inventory, a quick stop at Bax and the awesome that is Halyanwe's customer service...the outfit just...fell together!  Enjoy kids!

Fall into Autumn...with Kalnin's Shoes & Boots

So one night I was feeling a tad ... down in the mouth and my awesome sauce of a cousin, Beks simply typed the word "shopping?" into im.  Within minutes I was by her side looking at shop*gasmy goodness.

When you walk into the store, it's a bit unsuspecting in that, there doesn't seem to be a hole lot here. Mostly stuff for guys, but then...oooh..aah...ohhh *insert the typical opening hook of let's get it on* was all i could say as i turned and saw the yummy that is Kalnin's newest selection of shoes for the lovely ladies of Second Life.  Introducing Kalnin's Shoes...and their most recent addition: Kalnin's Fall Boot.
