Happy Boxing Day!

If your Holiday season has been anything like mine, the last thing you want to do it go shopping on Boxing day.  Retail sucks this time of year, and I'm speaking as a consumer and as a person who works retail IRL.  Just sucky all around.

However, what does not bite me in the butt is tossing on some of the most comfy clothes I have in my inventory and spending the day just lounging around in my very own personal Christmas Present.

Yay and a sigh of relief is what I feel now that the season is over.  So I get some of my trusty clothes and rock them like only I know how....  Amerie and their lovely black fur textured hoodie, Admiral Spicy with their off the hip jeans, my trusty Baxies, and of course it would not be complete without an uber cute off to the side pony from Magika.

 

2012 is fast approaching and I for one and making a couple of promises to myself this year.  I refuse to call them resolutions as I will just end up getting discouraged, but if they are promises I am sure that I will have no problem making them come true.

This will probably be my last post of 2011.  It has been a wonderful year.  Full of tears, joys, sorrows, laughter, and support.  I like many, have learned a few lessons, some, in the hard way.  I have seen relationships tested, friendships made and broken.  Trust given and taken away.  I think 2011 was definatly a year that "most" of us woke up and opened our eyes to things surrounding us.  It has been an amazing journey in self-discovery, one with many experiences I will hold true to my heart, even if some were bad.  This year, opened my eyes to many things I have been blinded to in the past.  2012 is a new chapter.  One I am very much looking forward to see.

So to you and yours, Peace, Love, Success and happiness in the New Year.  We made it!  We rocked it, and hell we made it LOOK Good!

A rediscovery of awesome + Good Cust. Service = EPIC WIN

So remember that time that we told you there was a third who will someday be able to keep up with her two shopping a.d.d. ridden cohorts?  Yeah...that's me ... and no...my computer is still not up to snuff *tear*.  But...that doesn't prevents the shopping!! NAY!

So back to the point.  I was running behind..around...whaaaaaaaaatever my two sisters and we landed at a place I had been to before but completely forgot about: Sweetest Goodbye.  To say the store has changed would be an understatement!  I saw stuff I don't remember seeing before and thudded (again with the thudding!).  So in my dire need to not succumb to the school uniform my dynamic duo of sisterdom has...I opted for something a bit different...the Desire sweater (see below)

Now...be warned: This sweater ... alll primwork.  But it's GOOD primwork. You may have to move the top down just a smidgen in order to cover your left nipple, but other than that...rock the primwork!!

So as I started drooling in the store...I immediately began thinking ... what can I put with this wonderful thing to make an outfit.  Add a mini from Luck, Inc, Bax Boots and all that was missing...the HAIR. Enter Deviant Kitties & their wonderful proprietor Halyanwe Vindaloo.  I went, picked out several demos and ended up in lurve with the Archie: a scripted color-change hair that's up on her new releases wall.  And when I say I had trouble...I had TROUBLE getting the hud to work.  So...I im'd her. Figured, 'what the hey? Worse comes to worst...I get no help'.  Not only was Halyanwe online, she was uber helpful; walking me through the demo hair & hud, before and after purchase (as there were some startup issues with both). And ultimately when the product refused to work for me...she sent me the version she was using to walk me through and VOILA! new hair that worked ^.^!! Note to customers:  EVERY shop owner could take a lesson from Miss Vindaloo. She was courteous, patient and most important...HELPFUL. Thank you Halyanwe...you made my night!!  Between items already in inventory, a quick stop at Bax and the awesome that is Halyanwe's customer service...the outfit just...fell together!  Enjoy kids!

So there I was, or shall I say, here I still am. Saturday morning and I am up at the ass crack of dawn -- albeit the sun was not yet up and the clock was approaching about 6:45am. My kitten (well not really a kitten she's about 4) decides that it's time to play. How NOT impressed am I at that moment. However, with every negative there is a positive right!?! Which means.....

Fashionistas I bring you the kitty!

Toxic Kitty has long been one of my favorite Sexy Urban Neko stores in SL. I happened upon it a few months ago just by accident really. The store is relatively large, but easy to navigate. The colours are bright yet not blinding. If you are in search for something specific, you WILL be able to find it.

When you TP into the mainstore you will come upon a staircase. Along the left is where you can find various freebies and dollarbies (one of which is this cute cute outfit).

This outfit consists of a jacket and pant layer along with a prim skirt attachment. I did not wear the skirt because quite honestly it looks like I was growing tubes from my belly. So not sexy tubes=fail.

But worn just the tank and the tights the outfit turns out to be quite hot.

So while I was checking out the dollarbies, freebies, Lucky Chairs and new items I happened upon the CUTEST winter outfit, which has decidedly made me want to rock it for the rest of the day and be Neko all weekend! I love being Neko, but I have to be in that mind-frame to do it. This outfit definitely helped with that!

#2 Starfall $500L



This has to be by far the cutest winter Neko outfit I have seen since coming back in world last year. I LOVE the fur accents on the right places. The colour is amazing and not so damn bright as is the problem with most Neko gear. The skirt is cute, and not tubey, and passes the dance test! The arm-warmers are amazing as are the boots which house a resizing script. All around I am completely enamored by this outfit. Even the tail is cute but will need to be repositioned on your body. This outfit is FULL of win and a must have for every Neko who is stelling in and getting ready for yet another cold winter. Good thing we can always cuddle up to keep warm *winks*
